We’ve been down to see the Christmas tree at the center of the Village many times and we always get wowed by how beautiful she is. Honestly, it’s our favorite tree of all. Yet, unfortunately, we’ve never been to any of the events listed on this page. Here’s hoping you get to make your way down for the occasions.

Following comes from their official news letter:

“”It’s that time of year again!   On Wednesday, December 8th at 6 pm, the Rob Susman Brass Quartet and children and grown-ups alike will sing holiday songs. The sparkling lights on the resplendent tree will be turned on to mark the beginning of festive winter evenings. Santa Claus himself has promised to appear, candy canes in hand, and lead the children in the illumination countdown. The Washington Square Association provides songbooks based on your donations.

Christmas Eve, December 24 at 5 pm is the traditional time to celebrate the holiday with carols near the Washington Square Arch. “Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men” will ring out and is especially meaningful this season as we return to even greater normalcy.””
