No Longer Invisible: A Vigil And Gathering To Heal Our Communities

    Sunday, April 11, 2021
    1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

    at Bowne Playground

Please join us for a multi-racial vigil and community gathering grounded in art, healing and solidarity for the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in the wake of anti-Asian violence. No Longer Invisible is led and designed by Asian American women, creatives, grassroots, and community organizations doing direct work in Queens and NYC. Join us to grieve, heal and honor our heritage in Flushing – a community that has been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic and by anti-Asian violence this year, and yet has received little support and attention.

No Longer Invisible is presented by OCA-NY, MinKwon Center for Community Action (Year of Uncertainty Community Partner), Blasian March, Queens Museum, Wide Awakes, For Freedoms, Caribbean Equality Project (Year of Uncertainty Community Partner), and Queens Public Library.

No Longer Invisible («Ya no somos invisibles») está presentado por OCA-NY, MinKwon Center for Community Action (socio comunitario de Year of Uncertainty), Blasian March, Queens Museum, Wide Awakes, For Freedoms, Caribbean Equality Project (socio comunitario de Year of Uncertainty), y la biblioteca pública de Queens.
