Join Rockefeller Center on April 24th for this year’s Spring Sunday on Center Plaza. Enjoy a free family day full of activities from basket-weaving to nature walks, snacks & giveaways! With special performances by The Rock & Playhouse and a visit from Roxy the Owl.
- The Climate Museum – “Climate Art for Congress” Children and teens of all ages will create illustrated notes to members of Congress describing what they love most on Earth, and what they want to protect from climate change.
- Greenthumb of NYC Parks – Microgreens planting workshop where kids and adults can create their own microgreens garden in a recycled take-out container
- David Mizejewski and the National Wildlife Federation – David will host a naturalist walk through the Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center. While on the walk, David will incorporate his quiz “Everything You Think You Know About Bees is Wrong” and give a planter demonstration.
- Willow Weaving with Bonnie Gale – Weave your own basket!
