The 9/11 Memorial & Museum has opened a new special exhibition to mark the 50th anniversary of the World Trade Center. Towers Rising: Envisioning the World Trade Center Before and After 9/11 showcases artworks that reflect the transformation of the city’s skyline over time.
The exhibition features works by artists and architects who have a personal or professional connection to the site, such as Fritz Koenig, Daniel Libeskind, Michael Arad, Brenda Berkman, Lili Réthi and Nicholas Solovioff. The exhibit is open until October 2024 and is included with the Museum ticket.
