38th Annual 116th Street Festival 2023

Saturday, June 10
10:00 am – 5:00 pm

The 116th Street Festival is a national Latin festival that celebrates the Puerto Rican and Hispanic culture in New York City. It is the largest street festival in the North East and attracts more than 500,000 guests every year. The festival features live music, community art, and food influenced by the diverse Latin flavors.

The festival started in 1985 as ‘Abrazo Fraternal’ (Brotherly Hug) and has grown to encompass 20 blocks of East Harlem, also known as El Barrio. The festival is held on a Saturday in early June, usually before the Puerto Rican Day Parade. The festival hosts three stages with various artists’ performances, sponsored by different radio stations and media outlets.

The 116th Street Festival is a family-friendly event that welcomes people of all ethnicities and backgrounds to join in the fun and learn about the Hispanic culture. The festival also brings an economic advantage to the neighborhood and showcases the local talent and businesses. The 2023 edition of the festival will be its 38th celebration and will take place on June 10th, from 10am to 5pm.

The event is finished.
