St. Bartholomew’s Church on Park Ave. in Midtown will host its annual “Joyous Christmas Concert” on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.).

Celebrate the holidays this year with a seasonal selection of beloved traditional carols and festive new arrangements of sacred and secular Christmas favorites performed by the St. Bartholomew’s choir in St. Bart’s majestic 900-seat sanctuary, an architectural and acoustic marvel.

The Joyous Christmas Concert is part of the “Great Music at St. Bart’s” concert series produced by the non-profit Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to cultivate, promote, sponsor and develop the understanding and love of the performing arts presented at St. Bart’s. It features the St. Bartholomew’s professional choir, whose members frequently appear at many of the city’s most prestigious venues, from Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to Broadway stages and New York’s finest Jazz clubs. They will be conducted by Organist/Choirmaster and New York Philharmonic Harpsichordist Paolo Bordignon and accompanied by Associate Organist and Juilliard graduate Alexander Pattavina on St. Bart’s famed Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ, the largest in New York City and one of the finest examples of the American Classic Organ.
