The 2023 Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach State Park is a spectacular event that showcases the skills and talents of various military and civilian performers. The show will take place on Saturday, May 27, and Sunday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a practice session on Friday, May 26. The admission is free, but the parking fee is $10 per vehicle.

The headliners of the show are the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, who will demonstrate their precision and power in their F-16 Fighting Falcons.Other military performers include the United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the Air Combat Command F-22 Raptor, the U.S. Navy F-35C Tac Demonstration Team, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the 106th Rescue Wing NY Air National Guard HC – 130 / HH 60 Demonstration Team.

The show also features some of the best civilian aerobatic pilots in North America, such as Mike Goulian, Jessy Panzer, David Windmiller, and Ed Hamill. Additionally, the show will display some vintage WWII aircraft from the American Air Power Museum Warbirds, the Skytypers, and the Warbird Thunder Airshows. The show will also include a flyover by 22 aircraft from the SUNY Farmingdale State College Flying Rams.

The show is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of spectators, so it is advisable to arrive early and bring sunscreen.
