Hanami Nights and Weekends in Bloom at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Celebrate the Season’s Cherry Blossoms

From April 1 through May 14 the garden will have early morning openings and later evening closings. That’s right folks! The following schedules will be in effect during those days:

Tuesday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 8:30 pm
Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

If you’ve visited this live outdoor experience then you’ll know as well as we do how much of a treat it is to walk about the Brooklyn Botanic Garden; especially during those warmer Spring days when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom. It’s an exquisite sight to take in firsthand. We’re hoping to make it down there this year.

Weekends in Bloom

April 22 – May 14
Saturdays and Sundays

Featuring live performances and programs celebrating the season. You’ll get to see them gorgeous trees lit up at night whilst listening to live music.

Hanami Nights

April 25 & 26
5:00 – 9:00 pm

Japanese food and bar offerings will be on hand as the trees are lit up in splendid fashion.
