It appears, according to their latest posting, that ticket reservations will be required for those interested in attending the live concerts.

The ABC Good Morning America Concert series is another annual event that brings some of the hottest stars in music to perform live on Rumsey Playfield in Central Park in New York City. The series began in 2009 and has featured artists from various genres, such as pop, rock, hip-hop, country and more.

Some of the performers who have rocked the stage in the past include Demi Lovato, Megan Thee Stallion, Ozuna, Black Eyed Peas, OneRepublic, Macklemore, Hamilton cast, Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and One Direction. Some other notable artists who have performed in previous years are BTS, Bebe Rexha, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Spice, Chloe x Halle, DJ D-Nice, Lady A, Jimmie Allen & Brad Paisley and Pitbull. The concerts usually take place on Fridays from July to September, with some variations depending on the artist’s schedule. The concerts are free to attend, but fans are encouraged to request tickets online to get priority access.

Getting to Rumsey Playfield:

Rumsey Playfield is a sports field and a concert venue located on the East Side of Central Park at 71st Street. It is right off the 5th Avenue and 69th Street entrance to the park. It is home to many types of music, dance and performance arts, such as the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series and the annual SummerStage Festival.

To get to Rumsey Playfield, you can take the subway to 68th Street-Hunter College Station on the 6 line, or to 72nd Street Station on the B or C lines. You can also take the bus to 5th Avenue and 69th Street on the M1, M2, M3 or M4 lines, or to Central Park West and 72nd Street on the M10 line. You can also walk, bike or take a taxi to the park entrance.
