Celebrating its 47th year, the veritable New York institution to offer unique selection of entertainment, food and fun while highlighting local and small businesses

Taking place within the neighborhoods of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn

Brooklyn, New York- August 16, 2022- The Atlantic Antic™ Festival, presented by Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation (AALDC), is returning for its 47th year on Sunday, October 2, 2022. The annual festival is a veritable New York institution, beloved for its distinctive selection of vendors and activities as well as its focus on elevating local and small businesses from Atlantic Avenue and beyond. From noon until 6pm, rain or shine, the public is invited to enjoy a variety of merchandise, food and entertainment as they stroll along ten blocks in neighborhoods including Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn.

While specific attractions and events for 2022 will be announced in the coming weeks, the event promises to be a unique experience unlike other fairs. The AALDC is currently curating the array of vendors to ensure there is something for everyone, from clothing, jewelry and other handcrafts to favorite foods such as BBQ, street corn, crepes and more. Vendors interested in participating are invited to view and complete the 2022 Vendor Application, available here…

“We are committed to making this festival a true representation of everything that makes Brooklyn one of the most special places on earth, and we look forward to celebrating culture, tradition, creativity and, of course, food with the community,” said Howard Kolins, Acting Executive Director of the AALDC.

In 2022, The Atlantic Antic™ will again feature two stages with a selection of entertainment options. In past editions, attendees have enjoyed performances by belly dancers, local R&B musicians, youth dance troupes, drum ensembles and more. Local musicians and other acts who are interested in performing on one of the stages are encouraged to contact [email protected].

Weill Cornell Medicine will return as this year’s Kids Zone Sponsor where attendees will be greeted with family fun entertainment.
