NY Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks + Fireworks

June 14 – 19, 2022

The NY Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks is back with the usual and wonderful fireworks displays following each musical performance (except for the last indoor occurrence in Staten Island).

We’ve been to these in past years and it’s always been a joy to see so many New Yorkers and tourists gathering on the grass within the Big Apple’s green wonder known as Central Park. Yours truly can recall one time when fireworks display in Central Park didn’t take off at all due to inclement weather. Here’s hoping this year’s weather is near perfect for these events.

Of course, they’re not limited to Manhattan. As you’ll see below, they take place in all of our boroughs.

Here’s the listing:

Tuesday, June 14 at 8:00 pm in Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx (fireworks to follow)

Wednesday, June 15 at 8:00 pm in Central Park, Manhattan (fireworks to follow)

Thursday, June 16 at 8:00 pm in Cunningham Park, Queens (fireworks to follow)

Friday, June 17 at 8:00 pm in Prospect Park, Brooklyn (fireworks to follow)

Sunday, June 19 at 4:00 pm indoors at the St. George Theatre, Staten Island (no fireworks)
