See The Paris Opera & Ballet’s powerful Romeo and Juliet ballet on the big screen at FIAF and enjoy complimentary wine during the intermission!

Ballet Étoiles Mathias Heymann, Myriam Ould-Braham, and Stéphane Bullion stun in choreography by Rudolf Nureyev set to Sergei Prokofiev’s famous score. Created for the Paris Opera in 1984, when Nureyev was the renowned company’s dancer and chief choreographer, Romeo and Juliet masterfully conveys both the beauty and tragedy that fuels Shakespeare’s classic tale, and has become the standard in ballet repertoire around the world.

The screening will begin with a video introduction by Aurélie Dupont, The Paris Opera & Ballet’s Dance Director, and Nathan Benisty, Film Director.
