“Who Do You Say You Are?  Portraiture Then and Now.”

April 2 – June 28

What are the challenges which have faced portraitists through time?  Travel through time for a museum-wide exhibit highlighting both traditional American portraiture and new perspectives in portraiture through the works of emerging native and non-native artists.  Featured artists: Elan Cadiz Ferguson, Mildor Chevalier, PalénObesa, Eliana Perez, Augusto Fanjul, and René De Los Santos.
Free with admission during Museum hours.  Museum admission is free with an IDNYC card for the duration of the exhibit.
This exhibit is sponsored by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council through The Cultural Immigrant Initiative.
